The EYE

If you want to find info about the eye, that is the Place!!! Vision is maybe the most important ability a human being has. It helps us protect and care for our own selves. It makes our life interesting and exciting. That is why, it is endlessly important for every person to know how exactly vision functions. To learn this, we are making a short overview of vision’s marvelous organ – the eye. The human eye is approximately one inch in diameter. It is set in a cone-shaped cavity at the front of the skull, called the orbit (socket). This is surrounded by soft, fatty tissue which protects the eye and allows it to turn easily. Six muscles regulate the movement of the eye. Brief description of the main eye parts follows.
