| E-mail: Camelia Santeva was born in 1955. In 1980 she graduated in the National Academy of Art in Sofia, Bulgaria. In the period 1980-1984 she used to work for an advertising agency in the field of shop windows space design. In the same period she worked over her qualification of silicate design, ceramics and small plastic art. In this period she took a part in many art events. In 1984th she won a competition for Honored Teacher in Arragiment in the only school for applies arts in Sofia. Since 1985 she is leading teacher in her speciality - Arrangiment in the above-mentioned school. She obtained V and IV degree class extra qualification on applied arts. In the period 1985-2000 she expresses herself and creates many valuable art - paintings, drawing, portait and illustration. In 1994 she made her first one-man show - paintings (water color and pastel) in the City of Sofia In 1999 was her second exhibiotion in Sofia - paintings (oil paints, water color and dry and oil pastel) The year 2000 was very successful for her personal career and this is the year of her third one-man show, this time in Linz, Austria. There are works of Camelia Santeva in many private collections in USA, Spain, Germany, Poland, Austria and Bulgaria. I create my paintings with love and sincerity. To me the paintings are very strong and personal experience, that is why I do not ignore the colors. The oil paints, watercolor, and the dry pastel allow me to use the full range of colors and abilities without using any special effects. I search for the lightness, the optimism, and the calmness in the nature. It is incredible God's creation and approves His greatness. Painting with no difficulty, I try to re-create a man's momentary state of being in private with God. |
